Let your imagination bloom! In this 4-week class, we’ll dive into the magical combo of pen and ink with watercolor. You'll create detailed ink drawings and then bring them to life with color and whimsy using watercolor. Our focus will be on floral and fantasy-inspired subjects—think enchanted botanicals, whimsical buildings, and dreamy compositions.
Each week we’ll explore:
Sketching with ink for bold, expressive lines
Watercolor techniques for color and mood
Balancing detail and spontaneity
Creating finished pieces with a touch of magic
Supplies to bring:
Watercolor set (tubes or pans, student or artist grade)
Watercolor brushes (round #4 and #8, and one flat)
140lb cold press watercolor paper (at least 9x12 pad or loose sheets)
Waterproof black pens (Micron, Faber-Castell, or similar – sizes 01 and 05 recommended)
Pencil and eraser
All skill levels welcome—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
