Create YOUR lasting impression! Be a part of this unique opportunity to design an iron cast tile that will become a permanent part of the TIME WELL SPENT Clock Tower Sculpture - or give it as a one-of-a-kind gift for any special occasion! Purchase an Iron Cast Tile / Scratch Mold with Instructional Workshop conducted by Western Carolina Sculpture Center Staff. There are two tile size choices - Upper Tiles (these tiles are diamond and octagon-shaped and will be located on the upper sculpture area) and Lower tiles (these tiles are square and will be located on the legs of the sculpture). Both tiles are priced at $75 each. Participants will design their mold and the iron pour will occur during the WOOD.FIRE.SMOKE Festival this October. During the workshops, artists from the WNCSC will work with participants as they design their tiles based loosely on the iconic numbers found on the historic clock (be sure to view all the photos for examples). Parking instructions
All workshops are held on Saturdays, either at 9am-12pm or 12pm- 3pm. They are held at the City of Lenoir Parks & Rec Mulberry Recreation Center, 720 Mulberry St SW Lenoir NC 28645. There is plenty of parking and ADA accessibility.

Western NC Sculpture Center
The Western North Carolina Sculpture Center is dedicated to connecting people with the arts through exhibitions, interactions with artists, and the opportunity to experience creative processes in an inclusive environment. Our vision at WNCSC is to enrich the community by offering a unique series of programs and access to creative processes that encourage hands-on engagement. We aim to inspire creativity by direct visitor participation and a rich understanding of sculptural processes coming directly from our working and visiting artists. Come visit the WNC Sculpture Park Located on 1,400 acres, on the Patterson School Foundation grounds, is free and open to the public from dawn until dusk and features over 80 large scale works.
WOOD.FIRE.SMOKE Festival
OUR SPIRIT ~ The Wood, Fire, Smoke Festival is a celebration of our heritage and commitment to art, design, and innovation. A collection of skilled craftsmen, artisans, BBQ chefs, and maltsters will converge downtown, highlighting the ingenuity that put Lenoir on the map. Set in beautiful historic downtown Lenoir, Wood, Fire, Smoke offers loads of fabulous vendors, restaurants, bars, shops, live musical entertainment, attractions, and exhibitors. The Festival features an IRON POUR conducted by the Western Carolina Sculpture Center, live chain saw wood carvings, iron forging and numerous other spectacle events.

All proceeds from this purchase go to the WNCSC for scratch mold materials. Tickets are nonrefundable, but workshop times can be rescheduled by calling 828.757.4451. Donations go towards providing molds to youth in our community who may be in need of additional support.
