Please join us as we welcome Steven T. Collis, a law
professor at the University of Texas School of Law and one
of the nation’s leading voices on religious freedom,
productive discourse, and First Amendment issues.
Drawing from his book, 10 Habits of a Peacemaker, he
shares practical habits for discussing difficult topics in
productive and respectful ways.
Professor Collis is the founding faculty director of Texas’s
Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center and its Law and
Religion Clinic, and affiliated faculty in UT’s School of Civic
Leadership. A former Stanford Law fellow and law firm
partner, he is a frequent contributor to national media. His
work has been praised as a “much-needed voice of reason
and compromise.” He has been married for twenty-five
years and is the father of five children.
This event is proudly hosted by Prosper’s Mayor’s Youth
Advisory Council and the Prosper Chamber’s Prosper
Young Professionals.
