About the event
*The Viking Experience Festival will be running two weekends for the 2026 season.
*Activities for the festival include: interactive characters, encampments, music, Children's Cove, dancing, games, vendors, food, axe throwing, mead tasting, fight pits, skits in Drekhiem Village, and the After Hours Show.

Parking is onsite and free. Make sure to drive through to the back parking lot. Do not park in the front staff parking lot.
Health & safety
This is an outdoor event so plan accordingly for weather. We do have mostly flat grounds and some gravel road. Wheelchairs seem to do fine on it.

Volunteer will earn for working a 4 hour shift:
1 free weekend pass and
complementary camping

~Will create content for The Viking Experience which can include: videos, photos, stories, and posts.
~Will do at least one post before the event to let followers know you will be there.
~If producing photos you will deliver the photos to TVE in a downloadable folder after the event. It is recommended that photos have a watermark to help us tag you for posts.
~If producing content you will tag TVE in all posts. Will check in with leadership to see if there are any special areas needing covered.
If on a Special Project this is prearranged with leadership.
~Will pick up a Staff badge from the front gate and wear during the event.

This is an application for a space in the festival grounds to do demonstrations using no more than 2 tents or equal space. The main focus of this space should be to educate the patrons. This is not an application for a vendor who sells products but demonstrates how they make their product. If you have more than two tents for your area then fill out the Encampment Application. The second tent must be period for sleeping in. Make sure to indicate that in the description below.
