Help us welcome guests and set the tone for the festival! Volunteers at the registration table will:
Manage the check-in line and keep it moving smoothly
Scan tickets with the Eventeny mobile app
Place wristbands on guests (must be 21+)
Sell tickets using an iPad or take cash payments
Answer general questions about the festival layout, activities, and vendors
Your smile and organization will help guests start their experience on a great note — and your role is essential to keeping things running smoothly from the moment they arrive!

You’ll help keep the festival footprint clean and welcoming for all. Volunteers in this role will:
Monitor and empty trash bins throughout the event
Assist vendors with restocking or trash needs
Be available to check in with wine, food, and craft vendors to ensure they have what they need
This behind-the-scenes role is critical in keeping the festival environment enjoyable, functional, and safe for everyone — from guests to vendors.

Help our wineries focus on pouring by handling the movement of their products! Wine runners will:
Assist wine vendors by transporting bottles and cases to the central wine store
Respond to winery requests for assistance with basic needs
Provide quick, friendly service that keeps operations moving
You’ll be a key part of the wine team’s efficiency and guest experience!

Help us manage the wine pick-up area where guests collect purchased bottles. Volunteers will:
Organize wine orders as they’re delivered by wine runners
Keep orders clearly labeled and ready for quick pick-up
Assist guests when they return to retrieve their wine orders
Your attention to detail helps ensure every guest leaves with exactly what they purchased — and with a great last impression of the festival.

Distribute sponsor-provided items to guests
Share information about our organization’s mission and upcoming downtown events
Answer questions about downtown Albemarle, things to do, and where to go after the festival
