✨Calling all KC Aritsts ✨
What a World!🌎 Art Gallery at Worlds of Fun will run from June 6th through August 2nd, 2026, and will be open to park guests seven days a week!
This unique opportunity invites local artists to showcase their work inside Worlds of Fun—reaching thousands of visitors daily, including both Kansas City locals and travelers from across the world.
As we move into our second year collaborating with Worlds of Fun, we’re excited to expand the program with additional gallery locations throughout the park, creating more visibility and more opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their work.
This year’s theme, “What a World!”, encourages artists to explore the many “worlds” we experience—through favorite memories, sentimental places, culture, and imagination. From nostalgic summer moments and Kansas City pride to global inspiration, togetherness and even dreamlike environments, artists are invited to interpret the theme in a way that feels authentic to their perspective.❤️
Submissions: Unlimited entries per artist
Submission Fee: $20 per artist
Mediums: All mediums will be considered
Submission Deadline: May 10th, 2026
(Early submissions are encouraged as space is limited and curation will begin prior to the deadline.)
Artwork will be curated by Morgen Agesen of Art Garden KC. This is a curated exhibition, and not all submissions will be accepted.
Sales: Artists are welcome and encouraged to sell their work, but it is not required. Artists may offer ready-to-hang original pieces as well as ready-to-sell prints. All artwork will be displayed within the gallery, and prints will be available for purchase through the gallery sales desk.
Worlds of Fun will retain a 25% commission on all sales, so artists are encouraged to price their work accordingly.
Drop-off/Pick-up:
- All artwork will be dropped off and picked up on scheduled dates. Full details regarding installation, timeline, and requirements will be provided upon acceptance.
- To support accountability, artists will complete an inventory waiver form at both drop-off and pick-up, documenting all original works and prints submitted. This documentation will be used to verify inventory in the event of loss or theft and may be referenced for compensation considerations where applicable.
