About the event
Every first Thursday of the month, get ready for fun with food trucks, vendors, live music, art, and of course local downtown businesses! Partnering with the City of Fresno, Fresno Arts Council, Fresno Street Eats, and business owners. We all aim to bring the community together for unforgettable nights of entertainment and culture. Fulton Street will be transformed into a vibrant street fair from Mono to Tuolumne Street, filled with the best of what Fresno has to offer. Thank you for your interest in performing at Art Hop in Downtown Fresno! We are seeking talented performers to help activate our downtown streets and plazas through live music, DJ sets, cultural dance, spoken word, and unique performance art. This is a great opportunity to showcase your talents in front of an energetic and diverse audience.

  • Mariposa Plaza

  • Warnors Corner Placita

Performance slots typically range from 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the act and schedule. Please indicate your availability and location preference in the application. While we will try our best to accommodate your preferences, performance placement is based on event flow and programming needs.


What We Provide:

  • Basic, limited sound support at each performance area, if desired

  • Staff and volunteer support for setup and coordination

  • Promotion of selected performers via Downtown Fresno Partnership platforms

What We Need From You:

  • Details about your performance style, tech needs, and availability

  • Links to music, past performances, or social media

  • Clear understanding of your sound or equipment requirements

  • Respect for performance time limits and community guidelines

  • Proof of liability insurance listing the Downtown Fresno Partnership as additional insured.

Art Hop is one of Downtown Fresno’s signature monthly events, and we are excited to feature performances that reflect the creative, vibrant, and inclusive energy of our city.

ArtHop 2025 Food Truck Application

Every First Thursday of the Month | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

ArtHop is Downtown Fresno’s monthly arts and culture event that brings thousands of visitors into the district to experience local galleries, live music, vendors, and food. Food trucks are an essential part of creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for attendees.

 
Event Details
Location: Downtown Fresno (specific placement assigned by DFP staff)
Frequency: First Thursday of each month (January–December 2025)
Hours of Operation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (vendors must be ready to serve at 5:00 PM sharp)
Audience: 2,000–5,000 visitors monthly, depending on season and programming.
 
Participation Terms
Food trucks agree to remit 15% of total sales to Downtown Fresno Partnership.
Sales must be reported at the end of the event; invoices will be issued post-event unless the vendor chooses to pay cash on-site.
Vendor participation is confirmed month-to-month. Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in all ArtHop dates.
 
Vendor Responsibilities
Setup & Teardown: Trucks must arrive with enough time to be fully operational by 5:00 PM. Teardown is not permitted until 9:00 PM.

Cleanliness: Vendors are responsible for keeping their space tidy during the event and fully cleaned afterward. Trash, grease, and gray water must be disposed of properly.

Permits: Vendors must hold all required city/county permits, including health, fire, and insurance documents. Proof may be requested at any time.

Self-Sufficiency: Vendors are responsible for their own power, water, and equipment. Generators must be quiet and in good working condition.

Professionalism: All staff must represent their business in a courteous and respectful manner toward attendees, fellow vendors, and event staff.
 
Space & Assignments
Vendor spaces are assigned by DFP staff and are non-transferable.
Placement is based on event layout, safety requirements, and variety of offerings.
 
Important Notes
Space is limited; acceptance is based on menu diversity, compliance history, and community demand.
DFP reserves the right to deny or revoke participation if vendor fails to follow guidelines.
Weather or unforeseen city restrictions may affect event timing and participation.
