Each spring, the skies above Bosque del Apache come alive with the movement of thousands of migrating birds — and we want you there to witness it. Join Friends of Bosque del Apache for an incredible weekend of celebrating Spring Migration, with expert-guided birding field trips led by returning favorites Holly Merker and Alex Harper. Kick things off on Thursday, April 30th with a lineup of special workshops exploring the many wonders of the refuge — from local archaeology and reptiles to poetry, nature journaling, and much more.
