About the event

The Piedmont Physic Garden, a botanical garden in Union, South Carolina, will host its Spring Garden and Art Party on Saturday, April 18th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This community event will feature speakers on gardening and horticulture along with a juried art exhibit and refreshments. Join us for a beautiful spring day in the garden! Rain or shine!

Artists are invited to apply for our Juried Art Show on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Piedmont Physic Garden (PPG) in Union, SC. We will award cash prizes and ribbons for first, second and third place winners as well as a People’s Choice award. This is a unique opportunity to display your work, gain visibility and be part of an awesome community event. The non-refundable application fee is $20. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 1. Artists are encouraged to apply early since space is limited. If your application is approved, you may enter one or two pieces for the competition. The event will be held on the grounds of the Piedmont Physic Garden in the heart of downtown Union. Parking is free.

Our guest juror is Todd Baxter. an award winning artist from Rock Hill, SC.
