This class is all about loosening up, trusting the process, and letting watercolor do what it does best—move, blend, bloom, and surprise you. In Spontaneous Watercolor, you’ll learn how to work with water instead of controlling every detail. We’ll explore wet-into-wet techniques, expressive mark-making, color flow, and intuitive composition. This class is perfect for anyone who feels stuck, overthinks their work, or just wants to play again. No pressure, no perfection—just curiosity, movement, and discovery. You’ll leave with fresh, energetic paintings and a renewed sense of creative freedom.
Supplies
Medium mop brush, small detail round brush and medium round brush.
140lb quality watercolor paper (minimum 9x12)
Pan or tube watercolors (tube preferred) with a selection of basic colors

The Artisan Market is located at 118 N Main Street, Liberty, MO. We are on the south side of the building behind the Tie Dye Shop. There are 9 steps up to the deck, anyone with mobility problems please let us know and we will make special arrangements to enter at street level. Directions may be found at
