About the event
The South Carolina Strawberry Festival began in 2010 and is hosted by the Town of Fort Mill annually the first Friday and Saturday in May. The event is held in Walter Elisha Park, 345 N. White Street, and features the beautiful Fort Mill Amphitheater. 2026 will be the 17th Year of the Festival! The South Carolina Strawberry Festival features great music, children’s entertainment, strawberry eating contests, food, vendors, rides, fireworks, strawberries and so much more! Leading up to the festival in the park, a number of community events are featured. This year’sschedule includes Little Miss, Teen, Miss and Ms. Strawberry Pageants, Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament, Strawberry Sprint & Stroll 5K, and the Strawberry Soirée. The South Carolina Strawberry Festival showcases our beautiful Historic Fort Mill and provides avenue where residents, friends and visitors come together in a fun, safe, and family-friendly environment. The festival seeks to encourage economic development, enhance quality of life and foster community pride and engagement. Join us for a "berry" sweet time!

The Tractor Show is rolling into town as part of the South Carolina Strawberry Festival — and we want YOU to be part of it!

 

📍 Location: Walter Elisha Park
📅 Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026
🕙 Show Hours: 10AM – 5PM
⏰ Set-Up: 7AM – 9:30AM (no early arrivals)

Bring your tractor and share its story with thousands of festival attendees! Whether it’s a family heirloom, award winner, or a piece of farming history — we’d love to showcase it.

 

Important Reminders:
Tractors must be in operational condition to be driven into the park. Trailers are not allowed to be driven into the park exhibit area. 
All tractors must remain in place until 5PM.
Safety rules will be strictly enforced to ensure a fun, family-friendly environment.
Official entry placards will be provided at check-in.

Volunteers
Interested in applying:

· Assist with registration of individual players and teams · Welcome participants and provide directions as needed · Deliver lunches to golfers during the tournament · Support event set-up prior and during to the tournament (registration areas, signage, meal station, etc.) · Assist with event break-down and clean-up following the conclusion of the tournament · Help ensure a smooth, organized, and enjoyable experience for all participants
· Create a warm and welcoming first impression for festival attendees · Greet guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner · Distribute festival brochures to attendees · Remind attendees to use the paper QR code to complete the festival survey · Direct attendees to scan the QR code to access the digital brochure, festival map, and strawberry menu

· Provide information about the Town and the festival to visitors · Distribute rack cards, brochures, and other Town resources · Assist with giveaways and promotional items · Help manage interactive games such as the prize wheel, Plinko, and Town trivia · Maintain a friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging presence to create a welcoming and informative experience
Deadline: Apr 20, 2026
· Serve as flexible support staff, stepping in wherever assistance is needed, including coverage of any listed volunteer positions · Assist with restocking snacks and water at designated volunteer stations to ensure all teams remain supplied throughout the event
· Assist in creating a lively and enjoyable experience for attendees · Help with registration for eating contests · Support set-up and clean-up of the Fun Zone area · Assist contest judges during activities · Help distribute prizes to participants · Ensure activities run smoothly and safely · Maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude to keep the Fun Zone fun and memorable
· Must possess a valid, current driver’s license (licenses will be submitted to the Police Department for verification) · Operate a golf cart to transport guests, sponsors, vendors, and/or materials to assigned destinations as directed · Receive and follow an informational packet outlining duties, safety procedures, and operational guidelines · Communicate effectively with event staff and fellow volunteers via radio to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations
· Monitor and control access to the building to ensure only authorized personnel enter · Verify proper identification upon entry (uniform, official festival t-shirt, or event lanyard) · Politely redirect members of the public to appropriate festival areas as needed · Help maintain a clean and orderly dining area throughout the event · Assist staff and volunteers by answering questions, providing directions (including restroom locations), and offering general support as needed
· Welcome participants and assist with contest registration. · Support judges throughout the contest, ensuring everything runs smoothly · Help celebrate winners by distributing prizes with enthusiasm · Assist with stage management, including guiding participants on and off stage · Keep a cheerful, energetic, and friendly attitude to enhance the festival experience · Organize participants by age group and guide them to the correct areas efficiently
· Welcome and check in tractor show participants upon arrival · Provide directions and guidance to designated setup areas · Coordinate with event staff to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process · Maintain an organized and positive check-in experience for all participants
