From 4–9 PM on Friday, August 9th, our Sounds of Summer Concert Series continues with live performances by local favorite Kevin Brinson, followed by our high-energy headliners, The Bonafides. Enjoy food trucks, browse local vendor booths, and soak in the atmosphere along the waterfront. The Bonafides
The Bonafides from New Bern, NC bring acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, fiddle, bass, drums, banjo, harmonicas and soaring harmonies. From Carter Family classics to Old Crow Medicine Show to Old-time fiddle and banjo tunes – even ZZ Top with banjo and extra crunchy electric mandolin thrown in for flavor. You’ll hear songs you haven’t heard in a while, and songs you’ve never heard played like this.
