SEG Cast Sewing Workshop

Join us for a cast-exclusive sewing workshop hosted by Autumn! Whether you need a little help or just want to sew in good company, this is a great chance to work on your garb and connect with fellow cast members. We'll meet in Studio E (just inside the entrance). Please bring everything you need: sewing machine, extension cord, pins, fabric scissors, thread, fabric, notions, and anything else for your project. Snacks and drinks are welcome. Bring your creativity and a positive attitude! SPACES ARE LIMITED! Once all seats are filled no one else will be admitted. In this first class, our instructor will walk you through the very basics. We’ll talk about easy pieces you can find at thrift stores that work as-is or with a few simple changes. You’ll also learn how to make simple peasant-style chemises and pants. If you bring your own materials, you can even start sewing during the class. Please bring anything you need to work on your project: fabric, thread, scissors, and a pattern if you have one. We’ll help you understand what you have and how to use it. This is a relaxed, supportive space to ask questions, learn the basics, and start building your own garb.
