There will be multiple activities and a small $2 craft you and your little ones can enjoy. Come experience Kentuck and support local artists! Art Markets are a way to perpetuate the arts, engage the community, and empower the artist. Hoping to expand on the success of our monthly art nights (first Thursday of every month), Our Art Markets will be another opportunity for artists to display and sell their wares to the community. From April 2025, Kentuck's Art Market will be at 1901 Jack Warner Parkway, on the lawn next to the Transportation Museum across the street from Tuscaloosa's River Market. Artist Guidelines: Space allotted allows for a 10x10 tent, TENTS ARE REQUIRED. Each vendor may set their own prices and are responsible for their own payment processing as well as tax collection and remission. Artists will also need to submit the required license applications to Tuscaloosa County. The necessary documents are attached to this application. If you are a vendor in Tuscaloosa City Limits, you must also have a Tuscaloosa City license. Vendors will be always solely responsible for the cleanliness within their vending area. All vendors must complete an application through Eventeny and be approved. Vendors must pay appropriate fees prior to the Saturday Art Market. The Market is a rain or shine event - if it is raining, the event will be moved indoors. Required Fees: $40 for use of a 10x10 tent. All vendors must supply their own set up equipment, and please note that no staking is allowed. Again, to participate in this Art Market, all vendors must obtain licenses from Tuscaloosa County. If you do not obtain that license, you will not be able to participate and will not be refunded your space rental. Kentuck is applying for a transient merchant license to cover the licensing required by Tuscaloosa City for those living outside of the Tuscaloosa City limits. If you live in the Tuscaloosa City limits, you will also need a Tuscaloosa City license. Details concerning tax remittance will be sent to participating artists.
