Health and Safety Guidelines for Game and Geek Expo at the Raleigh Convention Center Welcome to the Game and Geek Expo! Your health and safety are our top priorities. These guidelines are designed to create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please review them carefully and adhere to them throughout the convention. I. General Health & Safety: Personal Responsibility: Attendees are responsible for their own health and safety. If you are feeling unwell, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, please stay home. Hygiene: Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use hand sanitizer, especially after touching surfaces or interacting with others. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow. Physical Distancing (If applicable and as per current guidelines): While we encourage interaction and community, be mindful of personal space and respect others' comfort levels. Observe any posted signage regarding capacity limits and distancing recommendations. Respectful Environment: Treat all attendees, staff, volunteers, and vendors with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated. Report any concerns to convention staff immediately. Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits, first aid stations, and security personnel. In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of convention staff and Raleigh Convention Center personnel. II. Hand Sanitizer Stations: Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the convention space. Please make use of them. Cleaning and Disinfection: The Raleigh Convention Center will be following enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols. III. Accessibility: We strive to create an inclusive environment for all attendees.
