Our night celebrates queer joy, liberation, and community connection under the theme "Vision for Tomorrow." With fabulous hosts Brandi Marxxx and Sativa alongside standout performers Athena and Sara Femme, you can expect authentic, inspiring performances that are sure to delight.
Enjoy Café Columbia’s mouthwatering charcuterie cups and a selection of local wines, ciders, and refreshing non-alcoholic options (note: alcohol available for guests 21+). This 18+ event is priced at $50, and every ticket supports our community fundraising efforts.

Below are health and safety guidelines designed for the Queertopia Drag Show.
These recommendations help ensure a secure, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone attending the show:
1. Respect and Consent
• Treat all guests, performers, and staff with dignity and respect. Harassment, unwanted physical contact, or invasive behavior—including photographing or recording without permission—is not tolerated.
• Always ask if you can join in on interactions, and be mindful of personal space. Report any concerns immediately to event staff.
2. Venue Safety
• Upon arrival, take a moment to note emergency exits and designated safe zones.
• Follow directions from event staff or security personnel at all times.
• Keep pathways and seating areas clear to ensure a quick, safe evacuation if needed.
3. Alcohol and Substance Use
• Alcohol is available only for guests aged 21 and over, and a valid ID is required. Mediate your alcohol intake to enjoy the night responsibly.
• If you witness behavior that compromises your safety or that of others—such as excessive drinking or substance misuse—notify security or staff immediately.
4. Health Protocols
• Comply with any prevailing local health guidelines, including any recommendations regarding masks or physical distancing.
• If you aren’t feeling well or have any medical concerns during the event, seek assistance from the designated first aid area or call out to event staff.
5. Performer and Stage Safety
• Respect the performers and maintain clear boundaries around the stage area.
• Do not attempt to join the performance or disrupt the act; the stage is reserved exclusively for the artists.
• Applaud and show support from a safe distance so that everyone can enjoy the show without distraction.
6. Personal Belongings
• Keep an eye on your personal items. The organizers and venue cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen possessions, so secure your belongings accordingly.
7. Emergency Response
• In any emergency, alert a staff member immediately and, if necessary, call 911.
• Follow any evacuation or safety instructions provided by the event team during the show.

Brandi Marxxx, a Daughter of the Haus of Sutra and Sister of The Haus of Relatable Content, is a powerhouse Tacoma/Seattle drag entertainer and producer. Known for their electrifying performances, they’re set to stun as co-host of Chelan Pride’s Drag Show Extravaganza: Queertopia. Bringing fierce energy to the historic Ruby Theatre stage once again, this year’s show promises a night of unapologetic queer excellence!
Sativa the Queen

Chelan Pride Drag Show Security Guard Application
Role Overview:
Chelan Pride is seeking dedicated Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of all attendees, performers, and venue staff during our annual Drag Show. Responsibilities include checking IDs, monitoring the premises, assisting performers, and maintaining a welcoming and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Verify IDs at the entrance for age-restricted access. Issue wrist bands for 21+ attendees.
- Monitor the venue for security risks and de-escalate situations as needed.
- Escort drag performers safely between designated areas.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with event policies.
- Provide support in case of disturbances or emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Experience in security, event management, or crowd control preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and handle conflict resolution professionally.
- Comfortable working in an inclusive and diverse environment.
- First Aid or security training certifications are a plus.
Time Commitment:
- Expected shift duration: 4 hours
- Must arrive 45 minutes before showtime for briefing.
Additional Information:
- Volunteers and staff must uphold Chelan Pride’s mission of inclusivity and safety.
- This position requires standing for extended periods and actively monitoring the event space.

Chelan Pride Presents: Queertopia Drag Show

1. General
• By purchasing a ticket to the Queertopia Drag Show Extravaganza (“Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• The Event is organized by Chelan Pride as part of our fundraiser to support year-round community initiatives.
2. Ticket Purchase & Admission
• Ticket Price: Each ticket is priced at $50 and is non-refundable and non-transferable unless stated otherwise.
• Age Requirement: This event is strictly for attendees aged 18 and older.
• Valid ID Requirement: All attendees must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the door for age verification. Entry will be denied without valid ID.
• Alcohol Purchase: Alcoholic beverages are available only for guests 21 and over; a valid ID confirming this age is required at the time of purchase.
3. Event Modifications & Cancellations
• Right to Reschedule: Chelan Pride reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety concerns, weather conditions, or venue limitations).
• Notification: Ticket holders will be notified via the email address provided during registration about any changes.
• Refunds: If the Event is canceled by the Organizer, refunds or credits will be issued. No refunds will be provided for any other reason.
4. Conduct & Behavior
• Attendees are expected to behave courteously and respectfully.
• Any disruptive, unsafe, or offensive behavior may result in removal from the Event without a refund.
• The venue reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual deemed a threat to the well-being of others.
5. Photography & Media
• The Event may be photographed or video-recorded by professional media representatives.
• By attending, you grant permission to Chelan Pride and its designated media partners to use your image or recordings for promotional or archival purposes without compensation.
• Attendees are welcome to take personal photos, provided it does not disturb the enjoyment or privacy of others.
6. Food & Beverage
• Refreshments: Enjoy Café Columbia’s charcuterie cups along with a selection of local wines, crisp ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Alcohol: Alcohol is available only for patrons 21 and over, and proper identification is required. All food and beverage offerings are subject to availability.
7. Health & Safety
• All attendees must comply with current health and safety guidelines as mandated by local authorities and the venue.
• Chelan Pride will not be held liable for any health issues or injuries sustained during the Event.
8. Liability & Indemnification
• Attendees participate at their own risk. Chelan Pride, its affiliates, and the Event venue are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.
• By attending, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Chelan Pride and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your attendance.
9. Personal Data & Privacy
• Personal data collected during the ticket purchase process will be used exclusively for Event management and communications.

10. Amendments & Governing Law
• Chelan Pride reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to ticket holders via the email provided upon purchase.

Chelan Pride Drag Show Alcohol Compliance & Age Verification Policy
1. Age Restrictions & Ticket Sales
- Tickets will be available for 18+ attendees, with alcohol sales restricted to those 21 and over.
- All attendees must present a valid government-issued ID upon entry to verify age.
2. Entry & ID Check Procedures
- A dedicated ID verification station will be set up at the entrance.
- Security personnel will check all IDs before admission.
- Holographic wristbands will be issued to attendees 21+ for alcohol eligibility.
- Attendees under 21 will not receive a wristband, ensuring clear differentiation.
3. Alcohol Service & Drink Ticket System
- Alcohol vendors will only serve guests wearing holographic wristbands.
- Drink tickets will be available for $5 each and must be redeemed at the bar for alcoholic beverages.
- Bar staff will verify wristbands before accepting tickets to ensure compliance.
- Drink tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to maintain responsible alcohol service.
4. Venue Guidelines & Enforcement
- Security personnel will patrol alcohol-serving areas to prevent violations.
- Last call for alcohol will be 30 minutes before the show ends.
- Any attempt to bypass wristband regulations may result in removal from the event without refund.
5. Liability & Legal Considerations
- Chelan Pride and the venue assume no liability for improper alcohol consumption or related incidents.
- Attendees are responsible for following Washington state liquor laws.
