Pride Pets 2023 Festival

Join Pride Fort Lauderdale as we kick off our inaugural Pride Pets Fort Lauderdale to celebrate our pets! Bring your fur babies for a fun day at the beautiful Esplanade Park and listen to great music, eat delicious food, shop for both you and your pet, visit with many animal exhibitors, and even adopt a new pet from dozens of non-profit animal rescues on-site all in a safe space for our LGBTQ community and allies. With almost half of all Ft. Lauderdale residents owning a dog and many others being the proud parents of cats, fish, birds, pigs, rodents, reptiles, and more, Pride Pets Fort Lauderdale is an event destination for the entire community. The day will include: -Pet Friendly activities, such as a Dog Luring Course, My Pet's Got Talent Show, and "Proud to Be" Pet Costume and Pet/Human Look Alike Contests -Raffles -30 + Animal Rescues and Non-Profit Agencies -Local DJs -Local Food Vendors -Cocktails: Martinis w/Mutts, Barks & Brews -Watering Stations -Petting Zoo -Local Pet Vendors -Pet Donation Station -LGBTQ Non-Profits Admission is FREE and parking is conveniently located at the city's parking garage just across the street. Located at 400 SW 2nd Street in Fort Lauderdale, Esplanade Park is a vibrant and dynamic urban oasis covering an impressive 10 acres along the picturesque New River. With its lush green spaces, towering palm trees, and scenic riverfront boardwalk, this beautiful waterfront park invites families, friends, and pets to gather for picnics, games, and social events, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
