For everyone’s safety and well-being during the Monument Restoration Workshop, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots.
Gloves are required when handling monuments and cleaning agents.
Eye protection (safety glasses) is recommended.
Hats and sunscreen for sun protection.
2. Safe Handling Practices
Use only approved, gentle cleaning solutions as instructed.
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that could damage monuments.
Follow lifting guidelines—never lift heavy stones alone. Team lifting or mechanical assistance is required.
Be mindful of uneven ground and tripping hazards.
3. Health Precautions
Stay hydrated—bring water and take breaks in shaded areas.
Inform staff if you have any medical conditions or mobility concerns.
First aid supplies will be available onsite.
In case of injury, notify an event coordinator immediately.
4. Respect for Sacred Grounds
Treat all monuments with care and respect.
Be aware of surrounding graves and avoid stepping on them.
Follow all instructions provided by The Good Cemeteryan and event staff.
5. Weather & Emergency Procedures
The event will pause for lightning or severe weather. Safety comes first.
Emergency contact numbers and procedures will be provided at check-in.
