The City of Wood Dale is excited to announce that this year’s annual Prairie Fest will take place from Thursday, June 18, to Sunday, June 21, at the Community Park Ball Fields, located near 655 N. Wood Dale Road. Prairie Fest began in 2001 as a picnic to promote community involvement and togetherness. What started as a one-day picnic celebration became a four-day carnival and festival. In recent years, nearly 20,000 attendees have enjoyed culinary delights, carnival rides, live music, and a spectacular fireworks display! WE HAVE AN EXCELLENT MUSICAL LINEUP! We’re also bringing back live wrestling on Sunday and expanding our free children’s entertainment, which will be fun and educational! Additionally, we have partnered with the Wood Dale Public Library to support their Summer Reading Program and have expanded the BINGO activities offered by the VFW. Sponsorship for Prairie Fest includes direct exposure, name placement in promotional materials, and opportunities for customized promotions.
