Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with the City of Port St. Lucie at its annual Freedom Fest at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, 9221 SE Event Center Place! This year’s celebration features a classic family backyard BBQ style theme, bringing together all the traditions you love in a fun, patriotic atmosphere. This event is free and open to the public so make sure to bring your lawn chair!
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with live music, a family-friendly fun zone, and craft activities for the kids. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. As the night winds down, enjoy a spectacular drone show followed by a show stopping fireworks display at 9 p.m., weather permitting. Parking and admission are free.

Freedom Fest is the City of Port St. Lucie’s premier Independence Day celebration, taking place July 4, 2026 from 5:00–9:00 PM at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center (9221 SE Event Center Place). The event attracts 10,000+ attendees and features live music, family-friendly activities, and a highly anticipated fireworks and drone show, creating strong foot traffic and extended dwell time for vendors throughout the evening.

Vendor selection is non-exclusive, and the City reserves the right to select multiple vendors offering the same or similar cuisine, including Americana BBQ-style fare.
