About the event
Outdoor spring makers market at Monona Terrace, just steps from the Capitol and Dane County Farmers’ Market - featuring 40 curated vendors. We invite you to join us for our inaugural market of 2026!
The Monona Terrace Makers Market will take place outdoors on the Olin Terrace Walkway at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
This lakefront location sits less than a five-minute walk from the Dane County Farmers’ Market at the Wisconsin State Capitol, one of the largest and busiest farmers markets in the country. The market is positioned along the natural walking route between Capitol Square and the Monona Terrace lakefront, with steady foot traffic throughout the morning and afternoon.
The event will feature approximately 40 local makers, artists, and crafters selling handmade goods including ceramics, jewelry, textiles, prints, home goods, beauty products, and other artisan items.
We are seeking makers and independent artists whose work reflects high-quality craftsmanship and unique design. This market is intended to highlight a curated group of regional creatives in an accessible downtown setting during one of Madison’s busiest Saturday mornings.
Vendors will be set up along the outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Monona in one of Madison’s most iconic civic spaces.
Booth space is limited to maintain a well-balanced and enjoyable shopping experience for both vendors and visitors.
Applications are due by 11:59pm April 4th, 2026. Booth fees are $125 for a 10 x 10 spot.
We’re so excited for this event and we hope to see you there!
