About the event
Celebrate the arrival of spring at the Maryland Apple Blossom Cider Festival, an annual tribute to the Old Line State's rich orchard heritage and booming craft cider scene. Join us on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, at the Great Frederick Fairgrounds for a day of crisp pours and local flavors. Whether you are a cider connoisseur or a casual fan of local craft, this is your chance to taste your way through the very best of Maryland. 🍎 The Maryland Craft Beverage Experience This festival brings together some of the state’s premier makers in one place. Explore a curated selection of: Hard Ciders: From bone-dry, traditional styles to modern, fruit-forward infusions. Artisanal Meads: Discover the complex flavors of honey-based ferments from across the state. Small-Batch Spirits: Sample unique Maryland-made spirits that capture the essence of the season. ✨ New for 2026: The Pairing Suites Elevate your festival experience with our brand-new, limited-capacity Pairing Sessions. These guided sessions are designed to show off the versatility of Maryland cider: "The Blossom & The Brine" a Cider & Oyster Pairing: Experience the ultimate Chesapeake tradition. Sample succulent local oysters paired specifically with high-acid, sparkling ciders for a refreshing coastal bite. "The Bloom & The Board" a Cider & Cheese Pairing: Discover how the tannins and sweetness of local ciders complement a selection of artisanal Maryland cheeses. > Note: Pairing sessions require a separate add-on ticket and have limited availability. 📍 Event Details Date: Saturday, April 11th, 2026 Location: Frederick Fairgrounds, Frederick, MD Tickets: VIP - Early admission 11:00 am to noon General Admission - 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Age Limit: This is a 21+ event for all tasters.
