The Mandarin Art Festival is a long-standing cultural tradition in Jacksonville, Florida, held annually every Easter weekend. Established in 1968, it holds the distinction of being the longest-running event of its kind in Northeast Florida.
Hosted by the Mandarin Community Club, the festival transforms the historic club grounds and the surrounding area under majestic, moss-draped oaks into a vibrant open-air gallery.
Key Highlights
Juried Fine Art: The heart of the festival features over 100 local and nationally recognized artists. Categories typically include painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and functional fine crafts (like pottery and woodworking).
Children’s Art Show: A student-focused exhibition held inside the historic Community Club building, showcasing work from dozens of local elementary and middle schools.
The Green Market: A specialized section located in the adjacent Billard Commemorative Park, featuring locally produced consumables such as honey, jams, handmade soaps, and artisan baked goods.
Entertainment & Food: Visitors can enjoy live music, a food court with a variety of local vendors, and a traditional bake sale—a community favorite that sells out quickly.
