This application is for art and craft vendors who personally make 100% of their products. Please review the Art & Craft Exhibitor Application carefully. We will accept a limited number of vendors offering high-quality, unique items. Be sure to read the Terms & Conditions before completing the application.

 

 This application is for handmade art and craft vendors ONLY.

 

If you have a commercial product, specialty pre-packed items, or are a concession vendor, you will need to submit a different application. 

 

This is an electronic agreement, and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

The Commercial Arts & Crafts Exhibitor application is for vendors selling high-quality craft-like products that are NOT 100% handmade by the exhibitor. Examples include Jewelry, Candles, Paintings, Sauces, Boutique Offerings, etc. 

 

This section is not for commercial service businesses, concession vendors, or sponsorship.  We do not accept political booths. 

 

Commercial arts and crafts vendors offer retail products that are sold through an established storefront or online business. These vendors provide high-quality, curated merchandise, including home décor, accessories, specialty goods, and gift items, that appeal to the festival's large and diverse audience. 

 

Products sold through multi-level marketing (MLM) companies, such as Cutco, Scentsy, or Tupperware, do not qualify under the Commercial Arts & Crafts Vendor category. These products must be registered under the Commercial Vendor category, and space is very limited.


• Space size is 10’ x 10’, and the booth fee is $450. The space is located on Main Street.


• Cancellation Policy: Refunds requested before August 1st will be refunded 50% of the registration fee (less $25 application fee, which is non-refundable). After August 2nd, there are no refunds.


• Only top-quality/first-class items will be accepted into this area. It is not considered a "flea market" area.


• The festival is a family event & we reserve the right to deny any application/exhibit deemed inappropriate.


• The Barbecue Festival is an outdoor street festival on streets that may be sloped or uneven and proceeds rain or shine.


• The festival only supplies space. The festival does not supply tables, chairs, or tents.


• Spaces are assigned randomly; we do not entertain requests for specific locations.


• To create a nice & consistent appearance, all vendors are required to have a tent to cover each space. Tents are required and must be supplied by all vendors. Plain or tent with vendor logo only.


• All vendor spaces must remain open until the festival closes at 5:30 pm. 


• No Generators will be permitted & electrical access is not available.


• All activities must be conducted in the assigned space. Sidewalks must remain unobstructed at all times. Vendors are not permitted to solicit customers by walking into traffic areas in order to hand out promotional material.


• The NC Department of Revenue requires a tax identification number. www.dor.state.nc.us or call 877-252-3052

 
• Clean-up: each vendor is responsible for the clean-up of exhibit space, including all trash, zip ties, cardboard, etc.

This application is for concession food vendors only. SPACE IS LIMITED! Vendors can only sell food items listed on the application. Meat products are not allowed. Lemonade, coffee, and tea sales will be limited to a small number of vendors for an additional fee of $250.

 

A complete menu and price list are required to be submitted with this application. 


The Barbecue Festival sells carbonated beverages and bottled water, which may not be sold by other vendors. NO EXCEPTIONS!


The Barbecue Festival reserves the right to limit menu items and might contact you for menu revisions. Menus must be submitted with the application for approval, and all menus and pricing must be on full and prominent display at all times during the festival. 


-All vendors must return a report listing gross receipts after the festival, 20% of which must be paid to the festival. The booth fee is not deducted from the percentage due to the festival. 

  • Photos of vendor booth, food truck, or concession trailer are required to process the application
  • Vendor must maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace during festival hours.
  • Spaces are assigned randomly; we do not entertain requests for specific locations.
  • All activities must be conducted within the assigned space only. Sidewalks and streets must remain unobstructed at all times.
  • No vendor can have more than (2) 10’ x 10’ spaces or (1) 10’ x 20’ space.
  • Provide quality food products in compliance with NC Health Department Regulations
  • If accepted, you must provide a certificate of insurance listing The Barbecue Festival as the certificate holder.
  • A North Carolina tax identification number is required and must be submitted.
  • The Barbecue Festival is an outdoor street festival on streets that may be sloped or uneven and proceeds rain or shine.
  • All tents must be fire-resistant.
  • The festival only supplies the space. The festival does not provide tables, chairs, or tents.
  • Generators are not allowed. 
  • Cancellation Policy:
  • Refunds requested before August 1st will be refunded 50% of the registration fee (less the $25 app fee, which is non-refundable). After August 2nd, there are no refunds.
  • The Barbecue Festival reserves the right to refuse any application and deny any exhibit deemed inappropriate.
  • Damage to the festival site caused by the vendor’s presence will result in a fine.
