BIG 75 INC & Global Barber Federation presents Kutz & Kickz Birmingham. This will be year 3 of the Expo and is sure to be just as exciting as year 2. This year we take Kutz & Kickz on the road for 2019. Kutz & Kickz is a revolutionary event that combines commerce, networking, and competition. All in efforts of showcasing the range of creativity in today's' barber & stylist. As the industry has changed, so has the talent in the industry. Our Barber & Stylist Competition has garnered a lot of attention these past years allowing us to grow. Sneakerheads will fill our RED Carpet Sneakerpit with exclusive footwear and products. This event will house some of the hottest Sneakers in the South East. Try your luck with the famous KeyMaster machine LIVE in the Sneakerpit. A portion of profits will go to Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. We will present a check at Kutz & Kickz Birmingham. Concession stand. GBF lounge and over 9000 sq ft and 30 vendors. This is a FREE and Family Event. Coloring pit for the kids. Kids design contest. Best design win a pair of shoes. Fastest Fade Match for the GBF Championship Title: 15mins This competition is for the fastest of the fast, the best of the best. Models must have at least #2 length on top or higher, no pre-cut, no lines, no shape ups. Hair will be cut to no lower than 1 1/2 on top to hold on sides. Barbers will be judged on the speed, blend of the fade, how tight the line is, and the overall cleanliness of the haircut. Cut time: 15mins Flambé Hair Fibers Special Edition Low Fade & Beard Match : 45 mins This battle is an everyday cut battle that is all about a good clean haircut. The low fade must be a true low fade, not mid or high. The length on the top must be at least 1.5 and the sides must be bald to show full transition. Flambé Hair Fibers and t-shirt supplied by Flambé. Model will be judged on fade, transitions, shape up, beard, overall cut and use of Flambé product. Hair Stylist Meets Barber competition . Free Style haircut. Cape supplied by Babyliss Pro. Models will be judged on creativity, haircut and difficulty.
