Jon Absey’ BEAR Strong Country Benefit

This event is to help alleviate some of the medical expenses for Jon Absey's treatment for Pancreatic Cancer. Jon served 6 years in the United States Army. He is also the former Utah Jazz Mascot, from 1984-2019. United States Army Veteran 6 years Donated over 16,000 hours to community service outreach programs. Raised more than $1 million for charitable causes. Supported over 300 organizations, ranging from children’s hospitals to local nonprofits. Earned more than 40 community and national awards, including multiple Mascot of the Year honors and keys to two cities. Co-founded Working for Charities, an initiative dedicated to strengthening small charities and ensuring their sustainability.
