Call for Artists – Red Gala 2025
Theme: Every Ribbon Has a Name
Event Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Location: Capitol Park Museum – Baton Rouge, LA
Baton Rouge Pride invites 3–4 talented artists to be part of the art experience at the 3rd Annual World AIDS Day Red Gala. This is not your average art show—think live painting, interactive installations, performance art, or creative expressions that capture the spirit of our theme, Every Ribbon Has a Name.
We are seeking pieces and performances that:
- Reflect the theme’s meaning—honoring lives impacted by HIV/AIDS, celebrating progress, and remembering the names and stories behind the red ribbon.
- Engage guests during the event—live creation, collaborative audience elements, or immersive displays.
- Bring bold, creative, and thought-provoking energy to the Red Gala’s elegant, high-fashion atmosphere.
Details & Expectations:
- Artists will have a designated space during the event for their work or performance.
- Preference will be given to live or interactive art pieces.
- Set-up and breakdown times will be coordinated in advance.
- Selected artists will receive event access and be featured in the program and promotions.
