About the event
Join the Havana Lawnmower Parade. That’s right - a lawn mower parade full of mowers and golf carts decorated to the hilt for the holidays! What a great way to herald in the season. The parade will feature the Havana Snow Queen and PumpkinFest King and Queen. The kids can visit with Santa and mom and dad can shop in Havana’s unique stores showing off their finest holiday decorations. The parade is a treat, so bring your camera! The parade will start at 1 pm at the Town Park and will travel through the streets of Downtown Havana. .

Parking instructions
Parking is available at the park. The parade will leave promptly at 1pm. We start the line up at 12:30. Please check in and be ready to line up by 12:15. There will be time to finish setting up once you get lined up.

Valid Driver's License: All motorized vehicle operators, including those on lawn mowers, must typically possess a valid state driver's license and be of legal driving age (usually 18 or older). Safety First: Blade Removal: All riding lawn mowers must have the blade drive belt or blades removed for safety. Visibility: Drivers must have a clear, unobstructed view. If the view is obstructed by decorations, adult safety walkers must be positioned at each corner of the unit. Speed Limit: Vehicles must not exceed a low speed, typically around 5 mph, or as directed by officials. No Stunts: Wheelies, burnouts, and other stunts are strictly prohibited. Throwing Items: Throwing objects, including candy, water balloons, or leaflets, from a moving vehicle is generally not allowed. Candy or small gifts may be distributed by walkers along the edge of the roadway. Decorations/Theme: Appropriate Attire/Theme: Participants must be decently attired and displays should be in good taste, suitable for families. Fire Safety: Floats with extensive decorations must use fire-retardant materials and have a functioning fire extinguisher. Secure Fastenings: Decorations must be securely attached to the vehicle. General Conduct: o Follow Directions: Participants must follow the instructions of parade marshals or law enforcement. o Keep Moving: Units must maintain pace and not stop unless directed to do so. Typical Size Consideration Height: Maximum height is 12 feet to ensure clearance under traffic lights, bridges, and power lines along the parade route. Width: Maximum width is 8 feet to allow safe passage through streets and past spectators. Length: Floats pulled by a tractor maximum length limit is 25 feet to prevent large gaps and ensure smooth traffic flow.
