Join us for a cozy and festive evening in Downtown Smithfield at our Harvest Sip & Stroll! Enjoy a relaxed night of wine tasting as you stroll through our charming local shops and businesses, each offering a unique selection of wines to sample.
Take in the crisp fall air, discover new favorite wines, and enjoy special shopping experiences along the way. It’s the perfect way to unwind, connect with friends, and support local—just in time for the harvest season.
Tickets are just $25, and proceeds help support our local food bank—so every sip you take gives back to our community.

Parking for the Harvest Sip & Stroll is free of charge and available at several convenient locations throughout Downtown Smithfield:
Across from the Neuse Little Theatre
At the Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield
Near the Little Brown Jug
In the community parking lots at S. Second Street & E. Johnston Street
On-street parking is also available throughout the downtown area

Walking Event: This is a walking event throughout Downtown Smithfield. The wine stroll route may take you across several blocks and may include uneven sidewalks or brick pathways. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and being mindful of your surroundings.
Crosswalks & Traffic: Please use designated crosswalks and obey all traffic signals. Downtown streets will remain open to vehicles, so be cautious when crossing.
Age Requirement for Wine: The event is open to all ages, but you must be 21 or older to participate in wine tastings. All wine participants must present a valid ID at check-in.
Stay Hydrated & Drink Responsibly: We encourage you to stay hydrated throughout the evening and enjoy tastings responsibly. Water stations will be available.
Be Courteous & Respectful: This is a community event—please be kind to volunteers, vendors, and fellow attendees.
If you have any questions or need assistance during the event, staff and volunteers will be available at check-in and throughout the route.
