Read Me First!

 

This form is for authors applying to present at FoCo Book Fest (book talks, panels, readings, workshops, etc.).

 

• Accepted presenters will have access to a shared author signing area: a communal space for meet-and-greets and book signings. This is not a dedicated personal table.
• Book sales for presenting authors are handled by The Crowded Bookshelf, our official bookseller.
• If you have separate arrangements, those are coordinated directly with The Crowded Bookshelf.
• If you also want a dedicated table in the book fair area, submit a separate Table Application (there's a table reservation fee).
• Submitting this application does not guarantee acceptance or a specific format, time slot, or session type.

• Application opens: 12/1/2025
• First-round approvals begin: on or after 2/21/2026
• Waitlist entries accepted until: 4/9/2026

You can edit or withdraw your application any time before it is approved or rejected. Applicants not approved during the first round will be placed on the waitlist. We’ll do our best to provide as much notice as possible and will reach out before approving your application.

Read Me First!

 

This form is for authors who want a dedicated table in the FoCo Book Fest book fair area to sell and sign books.

 

• Tabling authors are responsible for their own inventory, point of sale, and book sales.
• You may opt in to having The Crowded Bookshelf handle your book sales — coordinate that directly with them prior to the event.
• The table reservation fee is $35 (covers all sales dates).
• If you also want to present (talk, panel, reading, etc.), submit a separate Presenter Application. These are two independent tracks.
• Submitting this application does not guarantee a table, a specific location, or a specific table configuration.

Volunteers get into FoCo Book Fest (the whole event) for free, and can attend sessions before, during, and after their volunteer shift. Invite your friends to volunteer with you! Signing up for the same shift together is a great option, especially if you're new to volunteering and feeling a bit unsure about what to expect.
