• This form is for authors and presenters.
• If you want to sell/sign books at a table but do not want to present, use the Table Application form.
• Presenters who also would like a table to sell/sign books can indicate that on this form. The standard table fee of $35 is waived for scheduled presenters.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee program acceptance or table space.

If you’re interested in participating in FoCo Book Fest as a presenting author (book talk, panel, reading, etc.), please use this application.

 

Key dates

• Application opens: 12/1/2025
• First-round approvals begin: on or after 2/1/2026
• Waitlist entries accepted until: 4/9/2026

You can edit or withdraw your application any time before it is approved or rejected. Applicants not approved during the first round will be placed on the waitlist. We’ll do our best to provide as much notice as possible and will reach out before approving your application.

• The standard table reservation fee is $35, the fee is waived for presenters.

Volunteers get into FoCo Book Fest (the whole event) for free, and can attend sessions before, during, and after their volunteer shift. Invite your friends to volunteer with you! Signing up for the same shift together is a great option, especially if you're new to volunteering and feeling a bit unsure about what to expect. If you have any questions before volunteering, please send us an email or hit the "Contact Organizer" button on this application and we'll get back to you ASAP!
