*Booths and Food Stands are strictly a 10 x 10 foot space* As a reminder, all signage including sandwich board signs must be placed inside your 10x10 space. Displaying signs in the pathway creates a hazard for attendees and becomes an issue for our mandatory fire inspection. Please move your sign if asked by a staff member.
Booth assignments will be sent via email the week of the event along with a map. This will include the street you are on and your booth #.
Returning vendors will be placed at or near their usual space. New vendors will be assigned spaces that are available.
SIGNAGE SPAM IS NOT ALLOWED: All signage including sandwich board signs must be placed inside your space. Displaying signs in the intersection away from your assigned space is strictly prohibited as this becomes a hazard for attendees and an issue for our mandatory fire inspection. Failure to move your sign when asked may result in removal from our roster.
Booth assignments are FINAL.
Any vendors found attempting to set up or even asking to set up anywhere other than their designated spot will not be invited back to future events.
You may not exceed 10 feet of vending space as a courtesy to your neighbors. If you are assigned an endcap spot you may use some of that space to expand your set up but no more than 3 ft. You may purchase an additional booth if you need more space than this, specifically if you are sharing a single booth with another business. Booth sharing is not allowed within a single 10x10 space.
BYOP: Please remember that we are no longer providing electricity of any kind moving forward. This was the only way to prevent any more rate increases this year for our main event. All vendors must supply their own power for their lighting and equipment needs.
The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT: Please be ready to set up from approximately 2 PM-5 PM only after the street has been closed down completely by the barriers. Any staging on the street before it is closed may result in enforcement from Phoenix PD in the form of a 3rd degree Misdemeanor blocking of the throughway. We have been warned. You have been warned.
Teardown will follow at 9:45 p.m. By 4:30 p.m. there should be no cars on the street and by 10:30pm there should be NO booth tents, merchandise, materials and cars blocking the street. Please arrive early, unload fast, and park immediately. Do not park your car in front of your booth while you are setting up or breaking down. Unload your gear, find parking, then build your set up. When leaving. Pack up your booth before you get your car. This will help us avoid traffic jams and will expedite the setup/breakdown process.
PHXPD will be issuing tickets to people who park in closed streets or blocking open streets. Any car parked in a closed area, open street or any vending space will be towed and ticketed at your own expense. Please let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to having another great First Friday with you all.
