Menagerie on Main invites submissions for Figurative, a group exhibition exploring interpretations of the human form across media, style, and perspective.
From expressive portraiture to abstracted figures, anatomical studies to emotive gestures, this exhibition seeks work that celebrates, questions, or reimagines the body. All mediums are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, fiber, ceramics, and more. Both 2D and 3D works will be considered—as long as the human figure is a discernible element.
We encourage submissions from artists at all stages of their creative journey—students, emerging artists, and professionals alike. Whether your work is conceptual, traditional, or somewhere in between, we want to see how you interpret the human form.
