This year’s food vendor lineup will exclusively feature dessert-focused vendors only, think cookies, cupcakes, cocoa, candies, churros, drinks, and other sweet treats that add to the magic of the evening.
If your business offers something on the sweet side or can adapt your menu for this event, we’d love to have you join us!
If your usual offerings don’t fit this theme, no worries we hope to work with you at future City events that include a full range of food vendors.
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Optional Opportunity – Spread Some Extra Cheer!
Would you like to sponsor and decorate a tree in addition to serving food?
Food vendors have the option to sponsor a Festival Tree, which can either be:
- Gifted to a local family in need, or
- Displayed at your business as part of the Holiday Tree Trail, in collaboration with the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber’s Shop Small this Season campaign.
The Holiday Tree Trail encourages visitors to shop local and explore decorated trees throughout the community, with a digital holiday passport to check in at each location. It’s a wonderful way to extend your impact and share your business’s holiday spirit beyond your booth.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
ALL FRESH FOOD VENDORS must provide a minimum $2M/$4M liability insurance.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
If you live in, or your business is based in the city of Murrieta, a current Murrieta business license is required.
If you do NOT live in, or your business is not based in the city of Murrieta, a Temporary Vendor's Permit from the City of Murrieta is required. You will need to add the Temporary Vendor Permit to your cart below.
Questions about business licensing should be directed to the appropriate city Business Licensing department. The city of Murrieta Business Licensing application and information can be found on their website Business Licenses | Murrieta, CA (murrietaca.gov).
For community members, families, or organizations who wish to sponsor and decorate a tree at the Festival of Trees!
Spread holiday cheer by sponsoring and decorating a tree that will be gifted to a local family in need this season.
Important Notes:
- All tree sponsors are responsible for purchasing and providing their own decorations. Decorations should be family-friendly and durable enough for an outdoor display through the duration of the event.
- Tree setup and decorating occur on the day of the Festival beginning as early as 9 AM and must be completely set-up by 5 PM.
- Each sponsored tree will go to a local family that the City will coordinate with one of our nonprofit partners.
Tree Decorating Tips & Guidelines:
Keep in mind that these trees will be taken back to families in need this holiday season. To make the experience special, we encourage you to:
- Decorate with intention: Pick a theme, color palette, or style that will appeal to families of all ages.
- Keep it family-friendly: Avoid sharp, breakable, or inappropriate decorations.
- Durability matters: Trees may be handled and transported, so choose decorations that will stay in place during pick-up and delivery.
- Get creative: Handmade ornaments, festive accents, and personal touches are encouraged!
- Use your own supplies: All decorations must be purchased and provided by the sponsor.
Tip: Imagine how the tree will feel in a family’s home...a little sparkle, warmth, and holiday cheer goes a long way!

Join us for this year's Festival of Trees & Tree Lighting, where your business can shine both at the event and throughout the holiday season! This application is for non-food vendors who wish to participate at the event and sponsor a decorated tree. Your decorated tree will be featured during the Festival and can either bring joy to a local family or become part of the Holiday Tree Trail, a collaboration with the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber’s Shop Small this Season campaign — keeping the holiday magic alive in your business all season long!
Important Notes:
- Participation as a business vendor requires sponsoring a tree, in addition to your vendor booth, at this year's event.
- This application is for non-food vendors only (food vendors must complete the Food Vendor Application).
- All tree sponsors are responsible for purchasing and providing their own decorations. Decorations should be family-friendly and durable enough for outdoor display during the event.
- Tree setup and decorating occur on the day of the Festival beginning as early as 9 AM and must be completely set up by 5 PM.
- Businesses must have a valid Murrieta business license or temporary vendor permit (available for purchase if needed).
After the event, you may choose to:
Take back and display your decorated tree at your business as part of the Holiday Tree Trail, encouraging visitors to shop local and explore each decorated tree using the Chamber’s digital holiday passport.
Donate your tree to a local family of your choosing (businesses choosing this option are responsible for selecting the family and coordinating pickup/delivery with the recipient family on Sunday, December 7).
Each vendor space is 10’x10’
Your vendor bundle includes:
• One Festival Tree (with tree stand provided)
• One extension cord for LED lights
• Vendor booth space to showcase your business
Please note:
• Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, and booth setup materials.
• Your booth space and tree display area will be in separate locations within the park to enhance the overall event experience.
Tree Decorating Tips & Guidelines:
Keep in mind that your tree will be enjoyed by the community and possibly displayed all season long! We encourage you to:
- Decorate with intention: Choose a theme or color palette that reflects your business and the holiday spirit.
Keep it family-friendly: Avoid sharp, breakable, or inappropriate decorations.
Think durability: Decorations should withstand handling and transport if your tree will be moved after the event. - Get creative: Incorporate your business personality in subtle, festive ways — think colors, products, or a signature style!
- Use your own supplies: All decorations must be purchased and provided by the sponsor.
Tip: Your tree represents your business — make it memorable, festive, and a true reflection of your community spirit!
Tree Tansport Disclaimer: Tree sponsors are responsible for arranging pickup and transportation of their tree after the event on Sunday, December 7th.
