Step into a world of imagination and introspection during Dreams & Sound — a 90-minute immersive experience in the Dogwood Arts gallery space. Surrounded by the ethereal works of Lauren Adams' Nocturnal Landscapes and Dream Vortex series, you’ll be guided through an evening of insight, art, and sound.
Artist and Student in Philosophy and Psychology, Asante Knowles, will open the evening with a talk on the history and psychology of dreams — exploring the spaces we enter while dreaming, the influence of frequencies on the mind, and sharing original poetry. Visual artist Lauren Adams will lead a discussion of her dream-inspired exhibition, offering a deeper look into the work on view. The evening culminates in a meditative Sound Bath by Luminous Mary, designed to relax the body and awaken the subconscious.

Lauren Adams is a classically trained painter but also an observer of beauty in all things. Asante Knowles
Asante Knowles: Asante is an artist and PHD student in the Psychology program at the University of Tennessee. He writes poetry, music, and stories. His dream is to use his Psychology degree and network of artists to start a holistic health center for underserved communities. He's all about love, light, and laughs.
Luminous Mary
Luminous Mary: Mary is a vibrational artist passionate about converging the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional body, into a melting pot of resonance. Sound baths nurture the body, mind and soul. Aligning you with higher frequencies and universal consciousness. Every sound bath she offers elevates your body on a cellular level, adjusting your energy field to a deeper resonance with the earth and homeostasis. Mary uses a combination of crystal singing bowls, gongs, rattles, chimes, shurti-box, her voice and more to guide the sound journey. Each experience includes gentle breath-work, quantum heart coherence and is infused with intention to offer a space where mindfulness meets emptiness, and you discover bliss.
