"Mark" your calendars for Draw the District: A Chalk Arts Festival, outside The Hudgens Center for Art & Learning on March 7th! This family-friendly event, presented by The Hudgens Center, Sugarloaf Community Improvement District, and Gas South Theater, will feature food trucks, artist vendors and art demonstrations, and of course, a chalk art competition! Draw the District: A Chalk Arts Festival celebrates creativity and community through live chalk art. Artists of all ages and experience levels are welcome to participate in this live chalk art event.

 

Artists may register by completing this form and submitting the required registration fee. Registration is confirmed once payment is received.

 

Registation includes swag bag with chalk supplies for event. One "Artist Parking Pass" is also included in registration.

Best Student Chalk

Cash Prize: $100

$250 in art supplies

 

Best Individual Chalk

Cash Prize: $500

 

Best Group Chalk

Draw the District: A Chalk Arts Festival celebrates creativity and community, and we invite vendors who share these values to apply. We are looking for vendors that add variety, local flavor, and engaging experiences for festival attendees of all ages.

 

Vendors interested in participating  must submit an application for consideration. Space is limited, and vendors will be selected to ensure a diverse and high-quality festival experience for attendees.

 

The festival is open to the public 11am to 4pm. Vendors must stay setup for the entire durration. Vendor check-in and setup can take place between 10am and 11am with load out taking place from 4pm to 6pm.
