Since 1969, the Three Rivers Festival has grown to become Indiana's second largest summer festival, an annual nine-day community celebration. The Three Rivers Festival is a not-for-profit organization, funded entirely by vendor participation fees, souvenir sales, refreshments & entertainment ticket sales, and the generous sponsorship and support of area businesses.

Join us for the 2023 Trivia Night on Wednesday, July 12th at the Three Rivers Festival Plaza in Headwaters East at 7 pm.
 
Limited to 40 Teams
 
$50.00 per team
 
Prizes: 1st place $1,000; 2nd place $500; 3rd place $350
 
Trivia Night Rules: 
 
1. There will be 10 trivia categories with 10 questions per category. 
2. Each team should designate a "team captain" to use their cell phone to answer for the team.  
3. The Emcee will announce the topic of the category at the beginning of each round. 
4. The question will appear on the main screen, and the Emcee will read the question 2 times.  After 5 seconds the question will appear on each team's phone and the teams will have 30 seconds to brainstorm together and select the best answer to the question. The team captain will answer for their team on the phone.  
5. The Emcee will announce the correct answers to each question and the team leaderboard will display the current scores. 
6. After the final round, all final scores will be tallied and prizes awarded to the teams with the 3 highest scores of the evening.  
When your team gets in a pinch and just cannot come up with an answer to a trivia question, they can purchase “mulligans”. Mulligans are sold in a pack of 10 for $20.00 with a limit of 1 pack per team. When necessary, you may use a mulligan on any question by checking the box at the bottom of your screen. . Only 1 mulligan may be used per round, over the entire 10 rounds of play so choose wisely!  Mulligans must be purchased prior to the start of the contest. 
  
****NO cell phones besides the team captain’s can be out or electronic devices of any kind may be used during the game. If a team is found to be using such a device, that team will be disqualified. Thank you for your interest in the 54th annual Three Rivers Festival held from July 7-15, 2023. Food Concession opportunities are offered on a limited basis. Junk Food Alley, one of Three Rivers Festival's most popular attractions, typically fills up prior to the conclusion of the previous year's Festival; however, you are welcome to indicate your interest in that area and/or other events available that range from 2-9 days in length. These areas include the Emporium, Children's Fest, the Bed Race, and Art in the Park. Please indicate your interest in all areas. Applicants will be chosen based on appearance, experience and category. Confirmation of application does not guarantee acceptance. 
 
COVID-19: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, each vendor will be required to submit a COVID-19 Response Plan to the festival office by June 15, 2023. Each vendor will also be required to submit a daily health screening questionnaire for each artist and/or employee of the booth to the Concession Committee. The health screening questionnaire will be provided to each vendor by the Three Rivers Festival. This rule may be modified and/or added to at any time per the recommendations of the Allen County Department of Health, the Indiana Department of Health and/or the CDC. Vendors will be provided with updated safety guidelines prior to the start of the festival.

Applications are welcome from all interested groups; Three Rivers Festival reserves the right to decline any application/entry. Parade entries which are primarily advertising in nature are not permitted.
 
Each applicant may only choose one type of parade unit. Please do not fill out multiple unit types. For example, if you are a float, please do not fill out any information under walking, motorized, etc. Please only fill out the section under parade float. Same goes for all other unit types. International Village is a rain or shine event with an expected attendance of 2,000; be prepared with adequate staffing and supplies.

Booth Details
Each group will have a 10' x 10' space in the Freimann Square Parking Lot.  Registration fee covers booth space, 2 chairs and 1 tables, access to electricity, and minimal area lighting.  Groups may bring additional tables, chairs and lighting as needed.  Groups must provide their own booth display materials (table covers, backdrop, posters, etc).
 
Set up for the event will be on Friday July 14th from noon – 4pm and ready to open at 5pm. Booths must be open & attended throughout event Friday July 14 from 5pm-9pm and Saturday July 15 from 11am-9pm. Load out must be completed by 10am Sunday July 16th.
Booth locations will be assigned by the Three Rivers Festival. Groups may be required to provide their own tent that is self-supporting. No parking will be provided but there is the parking garage across Clinton St for a fee.

Food Sales
All groups with food items must comply with all Allen County Board of Health rules and regulations for preparing and selling food, including permit and inspection by the Board of Health before opening. If the group/organization is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-profit organization, they may be allowed up to 15 days annually to sell food without a Temporary Food Establishment Permit. If the Group/Organization does not fall into this category, then they must get a Temporary Permit. Call the Allen County Board of Health (260/449-7561).

Bed Race is WEDNESDAY, JULY 12th, on Main Street between Clinton & Lafayette Streets.
Check-in/Registration from 5:00-6:00 pm in the parking lot north of Freimann Square.
Entry Judging and Bed Parade @ 6:30pm ~ Compete for Speed or Creativity!
Races immediately following Bed Parade.
Max of 30 beds, 14 in speed category and 16 in creativity.
 
Team entry fee is $50 per team. 
 
Each team member will need to sign a waiver of liability during registration before the race. Any participants under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver. This waiver will be emailed to each team member. A copy of that waiver is attached.

Set Up Information:
 
Set up for Children's Fest will be Saturday, July 14th, between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. All events must be ready to open by 10:00 a.m. Saturday. All booths must remain open and manned during Children's Fest hours, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Load out must be completed by 6:00pm on Saturday.

Tents:
 
Children’s Fest is a rain or shine event. The event will be held outdoors.  All tents must be self-supporting. Event organizer suggests no tents unless branded. No tent staking is allowed.
IMPORTANT NOTES: For any deliveries, please order using the same name as shown on this application. This will make the delivery process much smoother. Please notify the Festival office who you will be renting from before the event. Remember to order weights to secure your tent; no tent stakes! TRF recommends A Party Apart (969-0999).
 
Booth Activity
 
Participating groups must offer a FREE child focused activity, giveaway or interactive experience at their booth. Examples: face painting, temporary tattoos, bean bag toss, duck ponds, crafts, coloring books, free samples, etc. 
Remember: NO SELLING is permitted at Children's Fest.
Expect 5,000 children at the event. Be prepared with an adequate staffing and supplies.
 
All vendors are required to supply their booth set up needs, including tables and chairs. However, if you wish, you can rent tables and chairs from us. If you would like to rent table and chairs, please make your selections below. Limited of 2 table and 2 chairs per application. Tables are $2.00 ea and chairs are $1.00 ea.
