Apply to have a vendor booth at CultureFest '26 in Oxford, NC, May 9th from 10-6pm.
A few things to know when you apply. Last year we experienced some things that we need to avoid in future CultureFest events. If you find you are unable to adhere to the following guidelines, then CultureFest is not for you.
RULES & STANDARDS:
- All food vendors MUST submit their menu with pricing for the festival before approval. This ensures we don't have a problem with multiple overlaps among vendors or price gouging day of...yes, this actually happened! Your menus will be reviewed after set up on event day and checked against what you submitted, so be sure you are in compliance with your application that was approved;
- Food vendors MAY NOT sell beverages UNLESS, it is canned soda or bottled water (you must include these on your menu if you plan to sell them). We have vendors specifically for beverages like lemonade, slushies or other drink specialities that will be vending as well for their business;
- NO ALCOHOL - we are family friendly and do not allow beer, wine or liquer to be served or sold at our event; Wine slushies with very low alcohol content may be approved if that is your sole business;
- Please take all your trash with you at the end of the event or place in provided trash receptacles;
- You are only allowed to sell your approved menu list. if you do offer anything outside of that, you will first receive a verbal warning. If behavior continues, you will be asked to leave event for non-compliance.
- There are no refunds given once you are approved. Your space is yours and is not transferable to another business without express written permission from Event Producer.
- All booth spaces are 10x10, except where a double booth has been purchased. Your tent must fit within that space. You cannot impede on another vendor's space by having anything larger than 10x10 or you will be disqualified from using a tent at all for your booth;
All tents must be weighted to ensure festival safety for everyone; - BE KIND! Everyone is coming to earn a living from their business, so speak to each other, meet new vendors and network and always be kind. Even if someone is grumpy or agitated, understand we are all going through something that others don't know about, so give grace and have a great time!!!
