Cosplay & Cats – Terms & Conditions By attending this event, you agree to the following guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of the cats, guests, and staff: 1. Respect for Cats - Picking up, carrying, or restraining cats is not permitted. - Gentle petting is allowed only if the cat approaches you willingly. - Do not chase, corner, or disturb cats that are resting or hiding. - No food, treats, or outside toys may be given to the cats unless approved by staff. 2. Respect for People - All attendees are expected to be courteous and respectful toward one another, staff, and volunteers. - Harassment, disruptive behavior, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated. 3. Costume Guidelines - Loud noises, sudden movements, or flashing lights that may startle cats should be minimized. - Please ensure costumes & props are safe and appropriate for an all ages cat rescue environment. Please email cosplay@teamtekko dot us if you have questions about your costume's appropriateness. 4. Photography Rules - Photos may be taken in designated areas only. - Do not use flash photography directly on cats. - Respect other participants’ personal space and photo sessions. 5. Liability - Participation is at your own risk. The rescue organization and PittJCS is not responsible for accidents, injuries, damaged property, or lost items. - By entering the premises, you agree to release the nonprofit (PittJCS and Rescue & Relax) and its volunteers from liability related to your participation. 6. Compliance - Staff and volunteers may ask participants to modify behavior for the safety of cats and guests. Failure to follow these rules may result in being asked to leave the event.
