Black Mountain Christmas Parade Saturday, December 6, 2025 Line-Up Begins at: 2:30 PM Parade Start: 4:00 PM Theme: Christmas in Music and Song Floats will be judged based on this year’s theme. Get creative - bring your favorite carols, instruments, or musical holiday magic to life! You may include elves, reindeer, Grinches, and more... but remember: THERE IS ONLY ONE SANTA! Any additional Santas will be escorted out of the parade lineup by the Black Mountain Police Department. Entry Fees Members: $50 per vehicle $15 for each additional vehicle Not-Yet-Members: $75 per vehicle $15 for each additional vehicle Rules & Reminders Any type of float or vehicle is welcome. Entries will be judged on creativity and how well they tie into the theme. Please arrive on time for line-up to ensure smooth parade flow. Judging Matrix: A detailed scoring matrix will be sent to each entrant once payment is received. Join us in celebrating the season and spreading holiday cheer through the streets of Black Mountain!

Parking instructions

Information will be sent for parking as the staging areas are decided.

Health & safety

NO candy or other items may be THROWN from floats, trucks, or other moving vehicles motorized or otherwise. Items can be passed out by members of your group as they walk along the parade route.
