A staple of the Cherry Capital Comic Con experience, the annual costume contest assures a great time for costume enthusiasts of all ages. Celebrity judges will be present to judge the contest. Contestants will be judged on both the costume and your portrayal of the costume. We don’t just want to see you dressed as your favorite character, we want you to convince us that you are the character. Don your capes and masks before heading to C4 this year. Rules: No nudity. We strive to keep our show family friendly, please keep that in mind when preparing your costume. No metal weapons of any kind. All guns MUST be orange tipped. All participants over 15 Welcome! The Adult Costume Contest is presented by Taco Bell and KFC. It takes place Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 at 6:15PM

Are you a puzzle master? Do you have friends who also enjoy jigsaw puzzles? You are in luck! Join us at the Grand Traverse Resort for a 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle Contest featuring an exclusive puzzle designed by Jay Fosgitt (jayfosgitt.com). Registration is $50 for a team of up to 4 adults or teens 15 and up. You will have 5 hours to complete the task. The first team to complete (or come closest), wins! Puzzles, light refreshments and snacks will be provided! The winning team will receive an awesome prize package! BONUS: You get to keep the puzzle! A limited number of additional puzzles will be available for purchase at a discount for participants.

Matthew Litchfield Kids Costume Contest The Matthew Litchfield Memorial Kids Costume Contest is where all the kids show off their hard work to bring to life their favorite characters. Judged by the Litchfield family along with members of our costume groups, with prizes donated by the 501st Legion Great Lakes Garrison and Rebel Legion Great Lakes Base. The costume contest is immediately followed by a parade of the participants around the show floor to open the day's festivities! Rules: Keep Costumes Family Friendly. No metal weapons of any kind. All guns MUST be orange tipped. Open to ages 15 and under. The Kids Costume Contest is presented by Taco Bell and KFC. It takes place Sunday, May 24th, 2026 at 10:30AM Sign ups will be accepted Friday and Saturday at the C4 Merch Booth and at the stage from 9:30-10:00AM on Sunday.
