About the event

The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF2024), a FREE, family-friendly two-day festival, will be held at NoDa Brewing Company North End, 150 W 32nd St, Charlotte, NC 28206 on October 19th and 20th from 12pm to 5pm each day. CCAF features a street chalk art competition for ages 12-17 and 18+. Festival goers will watch and cheer on the competitors and the artists creating the street chalk art gallery while enjoying various art-focused activities, music, and performance offerings, patronizing our curated arts, crafts, retail, food, and beverage vendors.

FREE Parking in two NoDa Brewing North End lots, on-street parking on W 32nd St, and at the Stand For Animals Veterinary Clinic.

Health & safety

The 2024 Charlotte Chalk Art Festival COVID-19 Safety Protocols 95% of festival activity will take place outdoors in well-ventilated open spaces. If there are interactive activities where the sharing of crafts or other materials takes place, hand sanitizers will be on hand as appropriate. Festival goers, crew members, sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors MAY BE REQUIRED to wear a mask upon entering all indoor spaces if the establishment requires it. This is contingent upon Mecklenburg County Health & Safety Protocols. Festival goers, crew members, sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors are strongly encouraged to wear masks if they are not comfortable with sharing less than a 6′ distance from any persons they interact with. Hand sanitizer MAY BE available at key locations around the festival site. Volunteers MAY BE REQUIRED to wear masks while serving in their capacity as volunteers in indoor spaces should the venue require it. This is contingent upon Mecklenburg County Health & Safety Protocols. This information will be updated a week before the Charlotte Chalk Art Festival if Mecklenburg County Health & Safety Protocols change.
