Join Milton PD at Carvin' in Crabapple for our Trunk or Treat!
Trunk or Treat is a trick or treating event where local businesses, community members, organizations, and nonprofits decorate the trunk of the vehicles and hand out candy and treats!
While the Carvin' in Crabapple portion will take place at Broadwell Pavilion, Trunk or Treat will be located across the street at 12624 Broadwell Road on October 19nd from 4pm-7pm. Outside of Trunk or Treat, there will be pumpkin carving and painting (Bring your own pumpkin-all tools will be provided), face painting, bounce houses, games, a Football Viewing screen, and refreshments- giving the children a lot more options and activities!
For all the volunteers who do decide to decorate your “trunk”, this can be as simple or elaborate as you wish! Feel free to decorate it “Halloween themed” or perhaps “dress it up” in a theme that supports your local business or organization! Feel free to hand out fliers promoting children’s programs or goodies that have your logo on it as well.
As for the treats, when selecting candy please ensure it is pre-wrapped and sealed. However, there are other options for treats to hand out, such as pencils, pens, glow sticks, erasers, bracelets, bookmarks, stickers, bouncy balls, fake tattoos, rings, balls, etc!
Trunk or Treat has always been a very popular event, so please ensure you have plenty of treats and candy for hundreds of kids. The event set up will start at 3 PM, and go until the start of the event at 4PM. The actual trunk or treat event will end at 7PM, or until supplies run out. We do have a large area but need to ensure we do not overbook “trunks”, so there are a limited number of spots available.
