About the event
Interested in learning how to make a book, than look no further. In this workshop you will learn some mixed media techniques as you make the covers for your book. You will use acrylic paints and inks with stamps/stencils, some collage work and pen/pencil.
These covers will be used to make a book using the Butterfly binding. This sewing was developed around the 11th century and was originally known as Yamato Toji.
This class is for participants 18 and older.
All supplies can be provided for an additional $25 fee to be paid directly to the instructor.
This class will be held in our Georgine Clarke building at 1922 5th Street, Northport, AL 35476.

This class will be held in our Georgine Clarke building at 1922 5th Street, Northport, AL 35476. The entrance is on 5th Street across from the Anders Hardware parking lot. Look for red sculptures out front and glass doors! There is a parking lot next to this building, and participants are also welcome to park in Downtown Northport.
