Application for the 13th Annual Bravo! Awards. Categories include both Visual and Performing Arts. This contest is open to students in grades 11-12 who have achieved excellence in the field of Fine Arts in public, private, and home schools and they must be a resident of Hamblen, Jefferson, Cocke, Claiborne, Grainger, or Hancock Counties.
One award will be given in each of the two categories - visual art and performance art. Winners and finalists will be invited to present their creations at a celebratory dinner and ceremony on Thursday, May 7th at 6:15pm at Rose Center Council for the Arts.

Submissions include:
1. Portfolio: A portfolio of the artist's work will be submitted to the Rose Center Council for the Arts for judging. For Visual Arts, all media will be considered and will be judged on originality, exploration of media, and craftsmanship. The portfolio must include only two (2) examples of current work online. Please include title, medium, and dimensions. Finalists will be asked to submit one piece of original art in person for final judging.
For Performance Art, music (instrumental & vocal), theatre, dance, and spoken word will be considered. A recording (audio or visual) should be submitted online of two (2) examples not to exceed 3 minutes each. Finalists will be notified and will be asked to perform at the awards banquet. Only current work will be accepted. Previous submissions will not be accepted.
2. Letter of Recommendation: The letter of recommendation will be submitted by a person with knowledge of the applicant's ability in the chosen arts discipline.
Finalists will be invited to display and /or perform their work at the event. The winners, selected by a panel of judges from the Rose Center Artists' Advisory Council, will be announced that evening. The awards will consist of cash awards in each category:
1st Place Award: $500
2nd Place Award: $250
3rd Place Award: $100
