About the event

ARTS FEST is the Creative Arts Guild’s annual celebration of fine art and crafts. Centered around a covered outdoor market featuring artists from all over the southeast, it also includes an indoor juried patron exhibit which hangs in the Guild galleries from September 18 - October 23, children's activities, live music and performances, food vendors, and self-guided tours of the Robert T. Webb Sculpture Garden. Admission is free on Saturday and Sunday. ARTS FEST weekend kicks off with our signature ticketed Friday night event, the ARTS FEST Preview Party. Our patrons enjoy making early purchases from both the outdoor Artist Market and the ARTS FEST Gallery Exhibit, all while sampling tasty treats from some of Dalton's favorite restaurants. The Creative Arts Guild is Georgia’s oldest multi-disciplinary community arts center. We are located in northwest Georgia, approximately 20 miles south of Chattanooga TN and 70 miles north of Atlanta. Parking instructions

Limited street parking is available on surrounding streets. General parking is located at First Baptist Church at the corner of Jones and Hawthorne streets, a short walk up the sidewalk from the event. There is also parking at Dalton-Whitfield County Library. A trolley will service both locations to transport patrons to the event. Parking spaces in our main lot are reserved for handicapped patrons for the duration of the event.

The Creative Arts Guild’s annual ARTS FEST, a festival of fine arts and crafts, will be held on the Guild’s campus at 520 West Waugh Street, Dalton, GA 30720. In addition to the Outdoor Artist Market, ARTS FEST also includes a juried ARTS FEST Gallery Exhibit, which hangs in the Guild’s galleries September 18 - October 16, children’s multicultural activities, live music and performances, food vendors, and self-guided tours of the Robert T. Webb Sculpture Garden. Admission is free and open to the public.

ARTS FEST weekend kicks off with our Friday evening ARTS FEST Preview Party. Guests will enjoy making purchases from the Outdoor Artist Market and the Indoor Juried Exhibit, as well as sampling tasty treats prepared by the Guild’s culinary program as well as a variety of local restaurants. (While artists are expected to be present in their booth during the party, they will receive one free ticket for a guest.)
