ART FESTIVAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Categories of work shall be limited to FINE ART & CRAFTS. All art displayed must be the original work of the artist/craftsperson exhibiting and must be signed by the Exhibitor. Ceramics must be original art works and not made from commercial molds. No agents or representatives may participate. In the event of a question, please be prepared to show appropriate identification and, if requested by the committee, be prepared to demonstrate your art or craft.
2. Each Artist or Crafts Person must submit three (3) recent photos of his/her recent work as well as one (1) photograph of the proposed display.
3. The jury selection of an artist/crafts person is an acceptance of his/her commitment to exhibit. No refunds will be made for cancellation by the Artist/Craftsperson.
4. No refunds shall be made for inclement weather or other acts of God over which the Sponsors have no control, and the risk and/or loss from such event shall be borne by the Exhibitor. Cash awards will not be issued to any exhibitors departing before the end of the festival.
5. Only the type of art/crafts selected for entry may be exhibited or sold.
6. No sharing of booth space is permitted except where two people work together. No subletting or selling of space to anyone is permitted.
7. Each Exhibitor must comply with all pertinent State of Florida sales tax regulations.
8. Each Exhibitor will be provided with and must display an 8 1/2" X 11" card with Exhibitor's name, category of art and home city.
9. During official Festival hours, the booth must be staffed at all times by the Exhibitor. No agents are permitted.
10. Exhibitors may check-in and setup on Friday, January 19, 2025, between Noon and 6:00 PM; or Saturday, January 20, 2026, between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
11. Booths must be set up by 8:00 AM Saturday and 9:00 AM Sunday. No booth may be dismantled prior to the 4:00 PM Sunday closing time of the Festival.
12. No hawking sales procedures are permitted, including the use of loudspeakers
13. Exhibitors must furnish their own tables, chairs and related items used for their display. Racks and booths must be strong enough to withstand winds and crowds
14. All painting, watercolors, photography, and prints must be framed, mounted, or displayed in a portfolio or appropriate stand.
15. All Exhibitors must unload and park their vehicles in the designated area behind booths for conventional cars, RVs, and vans. Oversized (bus-size) RV's must be parked in an adjacent field after unloading. Arrangements to accommodate large RV's operated by artists with disabilities can be made if requested with application. Exhibitors are expected to leave their space clean upon departure.
16. Adding on to the exhibit space by protrusions onto walkways, or by taking on extra tenting in the rear, is prohibited.
17. The Committee reserves the right to remove work of displays considered objectionable to the average general public and may do so without refund to the Exhibitor.
18. The Committee reserves the right to exclude without refund any Exhibitor who breaks these rules while the Art & Crafts Festival is in progress.
19 If there are a minimal number of entries in one or more categories the Committee may combine or adjust categories before judging to improve competition.
