4-Week Acrylic Class (April 7, 24, 21, 28)
Tuesdays at 1:00 PM Learning from the Masters.
Billy Showell is known for her beautifully structured botanical watercolor paintings and disciplined layering techniques. In this four-session class, students will focus on building form, depth, and realism through careful observation and transparent layers.
The first two sessions will be dedicated to learning from the master through guided studies, focusing on clean edges, controlled washes, and building color gradually. The final two sessions will allow students to create an original botanical painting using the techniques learned.
This class emphasizes patience, planning, and learning how to develop botanical work without overworking the paper
