This is the application for a standard table in Anime Boston's Artists' Alley. Â This is a lottery process and will close on the Deadline date and time listed above.
Â
The requirements for our standard Artist Alley Tables are as follows:
- All legal artwork is allowed, unless listed as prohibited. Fan art is expected and encouraged.
- All works being sold/displayed are required to have been created by the artist listed in this application.
- Any work that is materially different from the rest of your body of work will be questioned. You must provide proof upon request that you are the original artist for any work that has been transformed by a 3rd party (for example: Castings, Clothing, Plushies, etc.).
- Table sharing is allowed but requires written approval by our Artist Alley Management. You must request via email (artistsalley@animeboston.com) and include the name and email of the person who will be sharing.Â
- The Artist Alley table is not for a group of individuals who want to pool money to afford an 6 foot space. The only exception to this is for Student Organizations associated with Educational Institutions and requires written approval by our Artist Alley Management.
- AI created works are strictly prohibited.
- Please see the Anime Boston Artist Alley FAQ for prohibited items.Â
This is the application for a Pro Row table in Anime Boston's Artists' Alley. Â This is a juried process and will close on the Deadline date and time listed above. Â Here are the following requirements for our Pro Row:
Â
- All Pro Row artists who are applying as individuals cannot share their space with anyone. They also cannot sell any other artist's work.
- All Pro Row artists who are applying as studios must have been established for at least three years. They must also have projects that the entire studio has worked on together, and not just individual projects. All studio applicants will be investigated to confirm their legitimacy. Information will be gathered from previous Anime Boston Artists' Alley, as well as the Artists' Alleys of other conventions.
- The Pro Row is not for a group of individuals who want to pool money to afford an 8 foot space.
- All works being sold/displayed are required to have been created by the artist listed in this application.
Any work that is materially different from the rest of your body of work will be questioned. You must provide proof upon request that you are the original artist for any work that has been transformed by a 3rd party (for example: Castings, Clothing, Plushies, etc.). - 75% of the artist's work sold at Anime Boston must be original art and not fan art. The focus is on an artist's own creations, and not the intellectual property of someone else. If your website only shows fanart, you will be disqualified.
- AI created works are strictly prohibited.
Artists are allowed to fill out both the Pro Row and our Standard Application at the same time. If accepted into Pro Row, our team will withdraw your Standard Application.Â
