2026 Starlight Theater Opening Acts Application

Visit Amarillo’s Music Friendly Committee is partnering with Amarillo Parks and Recreation to sponsor up and coming LOCAL solo artists to open each week during this summer’s Starlight Theatre season. The concerts are on Tuesday evenings June 2 - August 11. We are looking for solo artists (possibly duos (maximum 3 audio signals) to open for each of the 10 dates. The committee’s goal is to provide 10 new(ish) LOCAL artists with a live performance opportunity. Those selected will have a 10-minute sound check and a 20 – 25-minute performance. Each act will be paid $75.00. Please provide links to any websites or social media sites that have videos or recordings of your performances/ music.
