Whether you’re an INDIVIDUAL or a BUSINESS, Category Sponsorship is your chance to shine during some of the most exciting and memorable moments of the evening. As a Category Sponsor, your name or brand will be front and center as contestants compete in one of the pageant’s featured categories. It’s a high-visibility opportunity to show your support while connecting with an engaged and enthusiastic audience. Sponsors are welcome to select multiple categories to maximize their presence and impact throughout the event.

We’re looking for energetic and welcoming volunteers to help represent St Pete Pride and facilitate an excellent event. - This event has 3 SHIFTS. You are welcome to sign up for more than 1 Shift if you're available. -DRESS in casual attire. Welcome to the Mx. St Pete Pride 2026 Pageant Contestant Application! 

 

Mx St Pete Pride contestants will compete in 3 separate divisions with (1) winner from each division. The divisions include: 

• Mr - Individuals whose stage persona identifies as male, regardless of gender identity. 
• Miss - Individuals whose stage persona identifies as female, regardless of gender identity. 
• Mx - Individuals whose stage persona identifies as gender diverse/nonbinary, regardless of gender identity.  Mx contestant’s stage persona MUST be different from the Mr. and Miss stage persona’s to qualify. This division embodies the “unique” contestant and will not visually mirror the other divisions.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Contestants and their dancers/accompanists must be at least 21 years old before the Pageant.

 

KEY DATES:

• Sunday, April 26th, 2026, 11:59 pm: Deadline for submitting all music and videos via Google Drive. We will be using Google Drive to collect talent music and videos. Each contestant will be sent a link and will have access to their own folder, so please keep an eye out for the email containing the link. All music must be submitted by the deadline with no exceptions. This allows us time to test the music and videos at the 1920 Ybor and return everything to you in case there are any format issues.

 

• Thursday, April 30th, 2026, 7:30 pm: Contestant Number Selection and Q&A via Zoom.We will be selecting contestant numbers in advance of the pageant during a Zoom meeting. This meeting will include a brief Q&A session, allowing you to ask any questions you may have. While attendance is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged. The meeting will last approximately one hour. Contestant names will be drawn randomly during the session. If additional contestants register after the numbers have been drawn, they will be placed at the front of the competition. A zoom invite will be sent to your email on your application.

 

• Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, 3:00 pm: Pageant Day - 1920 Ybor - Talent Blocking and Call Time. Parking is available, and all contestants will use the rear entrance. Talent blocking will begin promptly at 3:00 PM and will proceed in the order of contestant numbers. Each contestant will have the opportunity to use the stage for talent blocking. You will have 5 minutes to walk the stage and position your dancers as needed. During this time, no music or videos will be played, and the time limit will be strictly enforced. When doors open at 4 pm to the public, dancers with paid tickets will enter from the front doors only.  Dancers will be permitted in the dressing area no more than two numbers before you go on for talent.  (You may arrive at the venue anytime after 12 pm with ROLL CALL at 3:00 pm)
